Arrive Alive
Sharon Inglefield joined Arrive Alive in 2009 after her son of 25 years, Jonathan, died in a traffic collision at a signalised intersection.
Sharon is passionate about the need to create positive change on the roads of Trinidad & Tobago, to reduce the number
of serious collisions, serious injuries and fatalities.
As the President of the Road Safety Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), Arrive Alive, she is passionate
and willing to work with stakeholders of road safety, offering her unwavering support, knowledge and commitment. She is result oriented and recommends interventions,
as part of a risk based approach to road safety, having attended a number of international workshops and meetings, provided by the United Nations World Health Organisation,
the Global Alliance of NGOs of Road Safety, and the International Road Federation. With this in mind, over the last 10 years (2011-2018), the fatalities in Trinidad & Tobago have decreased
overall by 49%. Together with road safety partners she strives for zero injuries, zero fatalities, because every life matters.
